Property Counts

Overview

There are 11 different objects within HubSpot that contain fields. Unsurprisingly, the number of fields correlates with your most used objects.

You can use this dropdown to select which object you want to see the field counts for.

Within the 11 objects, there are 30 different users who have created properties.

Training these users on how to name properties will be a great way to ensure consistency across the board.

Fields without a description

Here are all the fields without a description:

All of these fields should be updated to have a description. For reference, descriptions fields should act as a guidebook for other or future admins and team members. Include details as to why the field was created, who requested I, and what is the end goal of collecting this information.

The more information that can be included in the description, often the better.

For example: The field "Call notes" on the Call object is empty. A good description would be:

"This field is used to record notes from calls. It is free form text that can be used to record any information from the call that is deemed important. Be descriptive and include details such as who was present, what was discussed, and any other relevant information."
